There even seem to be mistakes with the errata. The corrections page says changes are highlighted in yellow or with bold face, neither of which shows up in the corrections.
I tried the toe-up instructions for six-stitch patterns and am finding it to be more trouble than it's worth. For example, the row 3 and row 4 instructions in the first set (seems odd that the short-row section has two sets of rows numbered 1-4) call for placing markers in positions where there is no stitch to hold them (the first time you do those rows). Also, repeating rows 3 and 4 in the second set until all markers are removed seems to leave me on the wrong side of the work. I may have done something wrong, but I don't generally have these sorts of problems with patterns.
I'm sad; this book has some wonderful looking sock patterns, but I don't want to waste yarn and time on poorly edited patterns.
