Baby Cable Rib and Reticulated #5

Finally, I got this working to be able to post. Helps to remember passwords!!

Trekking 103
Baby Cable Rib
72 stitches on US1

I loved knitting this pattern. It was very easy to memorize and knitted up fast. Didn't hurt that this yarn is beautiful and I really wanted to wear them!!

Reticulated pattern #5

Ribbing-US1 Leg- US2

I'm just getting started on this sock, and it's my first real attempt at stranding. I like that I'm getting the fairisle look by using the self-striping yarn. I know it's cheating but it looks nice.

Dear daughter has laid claim to this pair when it's done already. And she will probably get them, as I think the leg will be too tight for me.

I'm thinking of doing one of those reticulated patterns myself. I have some Opal Handpainted yarn, and am looking for a solid to go with it! Your socks are lovely. Trekking is one of my favorites to work with.

Love the Trekking socks; great yarn to work with. And the new socks look absolutely wonderful!

If this is your first stranding, do try them on before you get too much farther. I had to start some socks over because the stranding was a little too tight.

Alison, I took your advise. I ripped them and started again. 72 stitches for the cuff and increased to 80 stitches for the leg. The look and feel much better.
Thanks

Trekking is such a nice yarn. Your colorway is really cheerful, and your workmanship is great too! :)

The reticulated pattern is going to be just breathtaking. I've thought of doing that one myself. Very nice!
