Two socks in progress.

Here's two socks that I am working on. The first is Online Summer Color sock yarn (color 789), a cotton/wool/nylon blend, in the Broad Spiral Rib pattern from More Sensational Knitted Socks. The second sock is the Swedish Blocks pattern, in Rowan 4 ply Cotton in Fennel. I frogged these yarns many times trying to find a pattern I could stick with for them, so I hope these work out.

The Broad Spiral Rib sock uses a round toe, and the loop-de-loop cast on, the other is Magic cast on starting with 8 stitches. Both are 60 stitch socks.

I couldn't get a good pic of the Stems socks, but it's one down, one to go on those. These two patterns have pulled me away from it for a while.

More details on my blog. It's my first time using these two yarns, so I wrote my first impressions there.

I love the broad spiral rib pattern too. It was the first pattern I used from the new book. So easy and yest so great looking. I like your other sock as well. There are just so many great stitch patterns out there.

Thanks everyone! I hope I have the willpower to make these into two pair, and soon, or else I'll have to buy more circs. It's just an excuse, but I have a budget to stay on for a while.
